Stuart and Steve Thomas are two local businessmen who have been involved in the construction and equipment hire sector for a combined 30 years. The start of 2010 sees them build on this experience with an exciting new venture: the launch of a new independent hire centre at the old MPH Plant and Tool Hire site in Cross Hands.

This hire centre, located at Cross Hands Square Shopping Centre, is easily accessible with ample customer parking. The new show room has been created to offer a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, with experienced staff on hand to offer assistance and advice to all customers, both trade and DIY.

We stock a vast range of hire equipment, including mini diggers and dumpers, rollers, floor sanders, carpet cleaners, wallpaper strippers, cement mixers, compactors, breakers etc. And if there is an item required for hire which is not held in the depot, every effort will be made to source the equipment and make it available for hire ASAP.

Hilti is widely recognised as the premier manufacturer of construction tools. Having recently secured a deal with Hilti, The Hirezone is proud to have become an approved stockist with equipment available for immediate hire.

The depot also stocks a range of consumables, including diamond products, safety equipment, power tool accessories and lubricants. The Hirezone also offers competitive prices on new power tools from Dewalt, Stihl and AEG.

Thomas & Thomas also has experienced on site fitters and offering a customer repair service for garden machinery and construction equipment. Thomas and Thomas are also able to service and PAT test electrical equipment.
